Kim Hansen

Kathy Nelson

This is the most un-retired person you will ever meet!!  Not only does Kathy come to the store every week before the Sun comes up to prepare and take breakfast to a weekly Rotary Club, She also makes the best homemade jam you have ever had. My favorite is her carrot cake jam!!  You can find Kathy at almost any farmers market in the Gladstone/Briarcliffe area. If you are in need of jam, jelly or gift baskets for the holidays she is the best around.

Karen Wiemann

Bill Bassett

Kim has been my great friend longer then she has been an awesome employee. Kim has been working here as a second job for about 5 years. She works days, nights, weekends just about anytime I need her. We have been known to be working way into the night or so early the sun is not up yet!  Kim has two kids that just happen to be the same age as two of my own, Erin & Connor. My last name is Hanson & they are Hansen so needless to say many or most think we are related in some way.  Kim also takes night classes, on her way to becoming a nurse.

Nikki Ricker

Tyler

Cakeballs, Cookies, Brownies or Lemon bars she makes them all. Not to mention breads, cakes, and so many things to taste. I don't know how many times I have called her and said " I need 150 bite-size desserts and a small cake, did I tell you I need it by tomorrow night? Next thing I know she has come in and I have what I need in no time. Karen also makes meals for our weekly meal customers and goes to almost all of our weekend catering events.

Karen is married to Bill(who has been known to help dip cake balls) She has a 5 year ols son Nathan & soon to be 3 twins Kristen & Claire. She is the true meaning of if you need something done ask a busy person. I know people like to say that everyone is replaceable but I am not so sure that is true.

Nikki has what it takes to make everything run almost perfectly. She comes in and gets familiar with all of our procedures and makes forms & guides that everybody can use to do their job so much better. She also follows me around and makes me give her recipes & amounts so she can add them to the new and improved book of recipes. Or she likes to say that she is just good at reading Marcie. I think she is the only one that can read all of my notes and lists. I can honestly say I have no idea how I was able to function dally without everything she has done to help my business grow. Bonus for me is when in a pinch she can jump right in and help out with getting our deliveries out on time.

Bill is about the best delivery driver I could ever ask for. Not only does he always show up on time and is willing to work with my crazy schedule, he is so courteous to all of my clients and their customers that I quite often get messages about how nice he is.

Bill is a retired Architect so he likes things to be let's say exact.  While I like to tell him you know  you went there 2 Mondays ago, it's the brick building to the left of the water tower behind CVS He just looks at me and says -Address please I need numbers & Do you mind giving me a map?

Bill is Married to Denni who quite often rides along and helps out on her days off. I am so lucky to have them here.

Alyssa

A self described food artist, dish washer and fruit cutter Extraordinaire. Need I say more, no but I will. Alyssa has come a long way with her Party Platter tray designs and everything else we ask her to do. Even though Tyler and Alyssa have been known to find a u-tube video on how to cut a green pepper when I am not there, the job gets done. Alyssa is a student at Park University and works for Scrumptious Catering and Target after class and weekends. WE hope to have her hang around at least till she has finished her degree. Who knows maybe she will want to cut fruit for a living. (haha) Oh and we do have a nickname for Alyssa- Bandaid

What a great guy! I was so lucky the day i found him. Tyler is a jack of all trades. He comes in almost everyday and does all of the dishes and other not so desirable work. The best part is that I can ask him to do anything from hang a shelf to cutting pineapples. No matter what i ask him to do he never complains.( at least not to me) Tyler will find a way to get the job done whatever the situation may be. Yes he was the one behind the utube video on how to cut a green pepper. Tyler is interested in learning about rehabbing property & would like to get his real estate license in the future and buy his first house to flip. I think if anyone can do this it would be him. I really realize how much I rely on Tyler until we had a snow day and he couldn't come in.

Danyea

Our newest addition to the ever growing staff at Scrumptious Catering. If you are feeling grumpy and are in need of a laugh Danyea is just the person for the job. She has a personality that can make everyone smile. Very up-beat hard worker. She is full of funny quotes that she has taken from her days of working at her fathers restaurant. She is one mean chicken cleaner.  When she tries one of our menu items she likes we get treated to all kinds of new descriptive words for good food we have never heard before. Danyea semi retired from her career as a consoler of kids. I hope she didn't think this was going to be a move to slow down. I really don't think she can if she wanted to. Did I mention she also works part time at curves.
